Role Summary/Purpose :

Playing crucial role in annual planning exercise and monthly/quarterly forecast. Regular interaction with the functions to ensure the various cost metrics are being tracked against plan. Publishing cost dashboard to ensure functional level reporting of various plan vs actual numbers along with drivers. Working towards simplification and automation

Essential Responsibilities :

- Preparation of plan opex lines for BP2/BP4/I-GAAP MOU plan and indirect opex for the JV. 'Roll up and analyze Opex plan along with key drivers for all expenses.

- Roll out expense budgets to each function and track their performance on monthly basis

- Monthly closing & reporting activities including tracking actuals vs. plan and key drivers for variances etc.

- Weekly/Monthly forecast for all the opex lines based on current trends and inputs from the functions

- Prepare cost dashboard based on drivers of each cost line and highlight any inverse trend in any key metrics.

- Identify productivity initiatives for key expense lines & track progress

- Ownership for Inter JV pricing

- Establishing controls around various processes and ensuring all the costs are being booked under appropriate head

- Driving cost optimization project and other simplification projects

- Support in management decision making/ad - hoc management requirements and evaluating CBA's etc.

Qualifications/Requirements :

- CA with understanding of financial industry with +5 years of experience in financial industry. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally. Proficient use of Microsoft Office (eg. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
