Working within the Credit group, the candidate will be responsible for GCT Central analytics and key BF FP&A related sign offs
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Responsible for all Balance sheet and capital analysis Responsible for Business Performance reporting on a monthly / quarterly basis for the business involving all financials and executive commentary at the GCT level
- Responsible for key audit queries on Financials and sign offs such as TB/BB, L3 analysis etc.
- Validation and control of flash balance sheet
- Will be required to work on ad-hoc requests from the business or business finance for deep dives into particular areas to identify problems and propose solutions
- Manage, validate, build upon and improve the Book of Work (BoW) of the team.
- Assist the team in trouble-shooting for their book of work, mentoring and co-ordinating with wider BF Mumbai as well as onshore stakeholders
Experience / Exposure
- 5-8 years of work experience Financial Planning and Analysis in Investment bank
- B/S and risk reporting, control, or analysis with a global bank
- Financial and regulatory reporting knowledge including IFRS, US GAAP, and Basel
- MS Office skills: - MS-Power Point, MS-Access, MS-Excel & through knowledge of lookups & pivot tables required, Ability to perform Excel spreadsheet analysis and ability to troubleshoot errors in Access.
Communication & strong interpersonal skills
- The individual should be experienced in dealing with diverse range of stakeholders up to and including senior management
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral & written) & strong interpersonal skills
- Experience of dealing with Front-office traders, in particular demanding traders or managing difficult situations such as trading errors.
Time management skills
- The individual must have a proven track record of the ability to work to deadlines in an accurate manner - this is a fundamental requirement
- Well organized & able to clearly present results of work.

Experience of managing a team preferably 5 +, including:

Supervising work performed by others.
- Experience in carrying out 4-eye checks.
Education / Certification
CFA (Level2 / Level3), FRM, MBA or Chartered Accountant (C.A.), Bachelor's degree in Finance related subjects with relevant experience / Master in Financial Management with relevant experience
