Manager-Financial operations

Candidate Profile:

- The ideal candidate should have 9+ years' experience of doing business in India and particularly in Delhi/ Mumbai with AP/AR and tax consulting experience.

- The candidate should be well aware with laws & regulations in India on corporate receivables and payments and management as per Indian GAAPs including laws & procedural requirements related to Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Service Tax, and International Tax, Company law, Foreign Exchange Management Act, Foreign Direct Investment & RBI regulations and Personnel Benefits.

- The candidate should possess minimum 9 years of experience of providing FINOPS services in a captive serving onshore entities including but not limited to UK, Asia as well as domestic business & operations in India.

- Previous history of managing teams in a captive environment is a must

- Should have network of key vendors and relationships with well-known auditing firms in the market

- Experience using IT platforms, including Altair (SAP) , Salesforce, Taleo, Concur and maintaining client's details is an advantage.

- Candidate will relish the opportunity of gaining exposure to a range of foreign businesses and as well as units doing business in India, providing solutions and being their trusted partner to ensure compliant and effective operations locally. The candidate will work closely both with India leadership and key points of contact, including C-Level Executives,

Educational Qualifications:

- CA Or CA Inter with relevant work experience/ MBA finance from a reputed college with relevant work experience.

Job Responsibilities:

- Financial Operations and Tax/ GST support

Team Leadership:

- Motivated by delivering results and setting an example for other employees in the organization

- Managing team and ensuring efficient & timely recording and maintaining accounts in respect of all transactions

Responsible for Group onshore entities back-office functions:

- Strict adherence and improvements to clients' delivery processes in Finops and tax services,

- Managing on boarding process of setting up new clients g. Company/ liaison office/ branch office/ project office,

- Managing service delivery team on Foreign Exchange Management Act, Foreign Direct Investment regulations and Reserve Bank of India regulations related to setting up operations in India, routine accounting & payroll and compliance management of foreign companies having Indian subsidiaries,

- Managing direct and indirect tax regulatory compliances of foreign companies having Indian subsidiaries, Consistent and regular monitoring of clients' deliverables, compliances and reporting to senior management, and Managing client's feedback and queries.

Manage, support and expand FINOPS service line:

- Strategic manpower planning,

- Fin ops services to other onshore units , and Management of divisional budget.

- Leading and managing the Groupe's financial operations , and tax/gst consulting services as per scope of work assigned under specific client projects and ensuring effective communication with other verticals of the captive

Accounts management:

- Responsible for performance of Finops reporting

- Vetting all client service agreements considering financial, tax and legal laws & regulations

- Ensure up-to-date and accurate records of financial accounts and reporting for internal clients

- Strategic vision- forward thinking, planning for future, focus on systematic maturity and continuous improvement

Candidate Attributes:

Other Requirements:

- Experience of managing big teams and ambition to grow the team by multiples. Should be firm believer of developing and nurturing team talent, encourage innovation, efficient execution and emotional intelligence.

- Previous experience of working for 10 years with similar service provider/consulting service provider; and

- Previous history of managing Indian subsidiaries of foreign companies and international businesses.

- Public speaking and presentation skills among Indian and international audience.

- Attention to review and analyze, ability to innovate and find ways to improve margin and reducing cost.
