THE INCUMBENT WILL HAVE TO: - Lead financial and accounting due diligence projects on behalf of a client - Aggregate, manipulate, and analyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks impacting the target company and design tailored transaction services reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, valuation model input assumptions, achievability of management's budget, and indebtedness considerations - Motivate, manage, train and prioritize team members, and proactively consult with client - Write detailed reports to present diligence findings to clients - Work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity - Establish strong professional relationships with the client and team members ENSURE TEAM MEMBERS ARE ACCURATELY: - Summarizing, analyzing and formatting financial/accounting information in Excel (trial balances, income statements, balance sheets, profitability data, etc.) - Preparing Excel databooks and analyses correctly as per the client's standards Creating &amp; designing tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues such as normalized earnings, valuation model input assumptions, managements budget, and indebtedness considerations - Reconciling information provided by management and identifying issues - Preparing relevant financial/trend analyses - Highlighting unusual trends observations and framing questions for management - Writing detailed reports (or sections of reports) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED - Takes responsibility for own work - High on integrity and drive positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations - Flexibility to adapt to ever-changing scenarios - Excellent written, verbal communication with presentation and team management skills. - Strong problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions - Ability to manage client expectations - Ability to manage own learning and contribute to functional knowledge - Advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills and strong working knowledge of other MS Office applications, specifically PowerPoint - Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA Finance - Note - Please apply only if you have worked on financial due diligence mandates in an advisory firm and /or in an Investment Bank.
