Financial Analyst - Manager

Location: Thane, Mumbai.

Alternate location: Gurgaon, Delhi

- Prior experience with development of complex financial and analytical models is required.

- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint etc.

- A CPA or equivalent is highly desired.

- Experience with any of the following would be a plus – Hyperion, SAP BW, Microsoft Great Plaines etc.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with analysis of financial results and generating decision support reports

- Assists with budget preparation and financial planning and forecasting process and management reporting.

- Assists with budget review for compliance and identification of cost-saving opportunities. Reconciles monthly reports to determine budget variances

- Performs special projects and duties as assigned, including research, forecasting and exploring viable alternatives.

- Assist with cost modeling and pricing activities

- Assist with transactional accounting processes and automation of process and reporting

Skills:

- Strong analytical skills with extensive excel expertise and ability to deal with large data sets to perform analysis and reporting

- Self-driven and independent operator

- Ability to communicate with all levels of management and operations. Strong presentation skills a plus

- Clear understanding of accounting principles and methodology. Accounting certification and experience would be extremely desirable
