Fund Accounting Role - Consulting Firm

1. Fund operations and management - Fund accounting, Fund reporting and Investor MIS, Indian and Cross border compliance for fund management, Investor onboarding and support.

2. Overseeing accounting, taxation and related compliance-Control and review of fund accounts, Overview TDS of Funds and related monthly and quarterly compliance, Ensure timely filing of tax returns and other tax and statutory compliance.

3. Audit-Maintain internal systems and records in preparation of audit, Interaction with auditors for the audit process and audit requirements, Co-ordinating with internal and external constituents to ensure timely audit closure.

4. Operations-Control and support on day to day fund operations, including investment, transactions, and expenses/invoice processing, etc., Liasioning with Trustees, Fund administrators and bankers for ensuring smooth, friction-free operations in stipulated timelines, Ensuring timely delivery of unit statement, Form 64s to investors, Providing statements / information to LPs and other constituents on as-needed basis

5. Fund compliances-Quarterly reporting to SEBI, Periodic reporting to Trustees, FATCA reporting, K1 reporting, Periodic / event based reporting to RBI

6. MIS and reporting

Desired Candidate :

1. Experience : 3 - 5 years in accounting, taxation, and audit, preferably in Funds/service industry

2. Knowledge and understanding of the accounting principles, practices, standards, and laws & regulations

3. Working knowledge of Tally, MS Office, etc.

4. Good verbal and written communication
