Position : Finance Transformation Manager

Job description for Finance Transformation Manager below details key skills and experience expected across areas :

Program Management :

- Significant recent experience of managing large, complex finance transformation programs to achieve CFO agendas

- Experience in developing the strategic transformation plan, business cases and obtain buy-in from operating and finance leaders

- Experience in managing multiple work streams, multi country finance organization, shared services and technology enabled finance transformations including ERP and workflow solutions

Finance Operating Model - Outsourcing / Shared Services Model :

- Assist the finance function in defining a clear set of value propositions for finance roles and assist in the executing of its future Finance strategy

- Experience in designing different finance operating models, including Shared Services and outsourcing

- Implement structural changes in finance organization to leverage scale and create value - includes pulling portions of finance processes out of business units to consolidate in to SSC/centre of excellence.

- Experience in assessing the performance of the finance functions and identifying areas of improvements in efficiency and effectiveness

- Standardize and simplify processes to enable cost effective operations with the best use of technology

- Finance re-engineering experience in the design and implementation of core finance related processes

Service Delivery Framework Design :

- Experience in designing service delivery framework and governance model for finance functions in outsourced/ offshored operating models

- Experience in setting the long range and short range objectives for the organization and align the planning & budgeting process

- Experience in designing business review frameworks, dashboards & MIS for the CFO

- Standardize and improve planning processes to create alignment and synergies, develop the vision for the end-state planning cycle

- Experience in design of SLA and KPI's for outsourcing and shared services environment for finance

- Identify and define effective set of performance measures and KPIs which will focus the business on the delivery of strategy and business plans

Change Management :

- Experience in retained organization transformation including managing sensitivity and impact assessment to people

- Should have led change management in retained organization for outsourcing / shared services

Technology Experience :

- Oversee investment in tools and software to increase productivity and efficiency

- Experience in conducting a tool assessment study

- Experience in technology led finance transformations - ERP improvements in finance processes- managing multiple phases of the project and ensuring improvement objectives are met

- Experience in managing workflow implementations for improvement of efficiency and productivity of the finance function

- Understanding data migration requirements & developing strategy for cutting over to new operating model

Other aspects :

- Experience in Shared services setup including working understanding of tax and regulatory aspects of India

- Other core competencies include strong written and presentation skills as well as change management capabilities.

Qualifications :

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Bachelors, MBA preferred

- Total Years Related Work Experience : 10 -12 years

- Total Years Mgmt Experience : 5 - 7 years

- Strong continuous improvement experience, Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent process skill required. Excellent understanding of improvement best practices and methodologies
