Manager - Finance - Shared Service

Job Purpose : 

- To manage the Accounting and Reporting of Finance Shared Service (AP, AR, Expense reporting, Internal Audit, Corporate Reporting, Sox etc.,) and ensuring cost efficiency of the Shared Services by control of various overheads.

- Provide decision support around key strategic projects that have been identified by senior management to drive sustainable growth

Working Relationships : 

Mainly Internal Relationships: Senior Management in India & US, Corporate Controller, Internal Audit Head, Business CFO- s, Shared Services Managers and Finance Team

Key Position Accountabilities

The job holder is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:

- Create and execute a clear strategy for the Shared Service Group to ensure achievement of Departmental outcomes and strategy

- Provide leadership, management and oversight to Shared Service Finance Team

- Lead high performing teams through coaching and mentoring, to build and grow operational capability

- Fostering strong relationships with Shared Services by establishing a customer service culture within the Finance Team.

- Actively support & coordinate Shared Services projects and process re-engineering initiatives, for improving operational efficiencies & controlling overheads.

- Direct, manage and oversee projects and assignments initiated or recommended by Senior Management that address concerns on costs, efficiency of the Shared service units.

- Compile, consolidate and summarize budgetary data for preparation of budget estimates for Shared Services.

- Enable new operations functions to be added or changed over time without creating fragmentation or requiring fundamental redesign

Desirable:

- Minimum 3 years of working experience in Finance Shared Service

- Knowledge of the trends in Finance Shared Service

Essential:

- Professionally Qualified Accountant (CA, CIMA, CPA)

- 8 to 10 years- experience with at least 2 years at a Middle Management level in Financial involving regular interaction with Senior Management
