Exp: 10-15 Years Location: Bangalore About the Job The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the oversight of operational functions within Sales Division, including, sales strategy, sales productivity reporting and forecasting, review of performance against various key business drivers/metrics, and establishing, managing, and evolving the monthly, quarterly review cadence and is accountable to provide an accurate forecast of the business. This person will support the sales leadership and provide data and analysis that will guide decisions and will ensure that the businesses are supported by sound operational, strategic, market and financial analysis. The role also has responsibility for certain business controlling processes that preserve the predictability and profitability of the Division. Responsibilities - Sales Productivity and revenue forecasting; develop and implement metrics to monitor productivity and revenue performance - Supports the annual planning process through enhanced analytics including account assignments, quota setting, sales territory monitoring and building account, and opportunity plans (Top-down and Bottom-up plans) - Collaborating with sales leadership, human resources, commissions and other cross functional departments to conceptualize and build sales compensation plans, as well as roll-out of plans. - Accountable for running the quarterly financial commit and outlook processes end-to-end - Sales management communications, e.g. developing business review presentations, reporting, and analysis required for monthly, quarterly, and annual management meetings - Responsible for the analysis and reporting of key metrics across the business: bookings, Revenue, headcount, sales forecasting & pipeline, other key business metrics and ROI measures - Responsible for supporting sales optimization and productivity in developing and implementing processes whilst ensuring scalability in process design - Collaborate with sales management to ensure timely, appropriate implementation of sales processes to drive corporate initiatives and sales results. - Profitability decision making - Reviewing all decisions with a material revenue impact (e.g. credits, deal structure) - Ensures adherence to headcount and operating expense budgets - Provides insight into business results to regional and corporate leadership. Analyzes progress vs Op Plan and Commit, identify trends, risks, and upsides for further investigation or action. - Use analysis and enhanced analytics to make data-driven decisions and recommendations to support Sales and Finance management - Serve as the Finance interface for Sales (month-end close, budget administration, revenue recognition, etc.) - Responsible for driving special initiatives to drive productivity and revenue (for e.g. SPIF, special programs - industry or product based, Titan Ranking etc.) Basic Qualification - Bachelors- Degree in Business Administration or related field.
