Role Purpose:

Supporting the Head of Finance in managing the financial operations of the company/portfolio companies which includes tasks such as maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, performing financial analysis, and helping with budgeting and forecasting.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

- Review and record of all financial transactions and maintaining an accurate and up-to-date record of all financial activities. End to End support in account finalization.

- Prepare/review and present financial statements (Ind-AS / IGAAP), cash flow reports, and performance analysis to stakeholders and Investors.

- Responsible for making budgets and providing variation vis-a-vis budget for portfolio companies to the Investors.

- Liaise with the accounts teams of the portfolio companies to ensure regular operations and provide MIS on a regular basis.

- Coordinate with internal & statutory auditors. Maintain and furnish required information during the audit.

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and review tax returns (TDS, GST etc.) including matters related to corporate tax, transfer pricing, etc. Handling of Tax audits and Tax assessments with the Auditors / consultants.

- Suggest improvement to financial systems and implement procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Coordinate with bankers to close the loan documents and manage the end to end Banking relationship.

- Analyze The Companies Act compliance, corporate secretarial matters and review the various filings.

Educational Background & Desired Experience:

- Chartered Accountant with 4-6 year of experience.

- The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong academic background in commerce as well as experienced in working in finance & accounting role of mid-size to large companies preferably from real-estate and IPC (International Property Consultants) sector (Not a Mandate). CA candidate from consulting background with similar experience who wants to switch to industry may also be considered.

- Extensive working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), particularly an ability to understand & create financial reports with MS Excel.

- Understanding of ERP systems such as SAP

- Up to 3 years of relevant experience in Indian real estate domain and/or corporate finance/ capital markets would be an added advantage.
