Manager - Finance
We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee, monitor, and assess day-to-day operations. The Finance Manager's duties encompass establishing financial standing by creating and implementing systems for gathering, analyzing, validating, and reporting data. Additionally, we are in search of an individual who can collaborate closely with our management team.
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager include:
- Supervising the daily functions of the accounting department, which entail:
- Handling cash receipts
- Managing the general ledger
- Overseeing payroll and utility payments
- Facilitating vendor onboarding and managing payments
- Conducting bank account reconciliations
- Assessing operational and employee expenses
- Conducting month-end and year-end procedures
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Performing analysis on revenue and expenditure variances
- Overseeing the purchase and reconciliation of capital assets
- Preparing stock statements for working capital purposes
- Monitoring and evaluating accounting data to generate financial reports or statements
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting practices, policies, and principles
- Coordinating and executing annual audits
- Enhancing systems and procedures and implementing corrective measures
- Ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Fulfilling all regulatory requirements mandated by the company
- Achieving financial accounting objectives
- Establishing and preserving financial records and files to document transactions
Requirements and skills:
- Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, or Finance Manager
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- High attention to detail and accuracy
