We are a group of companies, in staffing, Saas based start-up, and It projects operating from the USA, with our BPO in India. We need a a Financial manager and Control Roles and Responsibilities : - Ensuring accurate and timely maintenance of books of accounts as per I GAAP and Group reporting infrastructure. - Complete P&L responsibility for a business unit. - Responsible for Planning, Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis. - Working with the CEFO and the Top Management team on strategic initiatives for the business unit. - Supporting the reconciliation team by closing open issues with the customers and ensuring timely reconciliation closures. - Daily monitoring of KPI's and raising red flags before time to the team. - Work as an internal auditor to ensure robust control and no leakages for the business units responsible. - Prepare and present business unit performance to the top management on a regular basis. - Solve queries from sales teams and customers with reference to finance-related matters for the business unit. - Prepare financial projections as required for different business units - Work with the US CPAs and ensure the closing of the books on time - Strong knowledge in financial evaluation of business performance on different parameters like operating margin, Net margin, ROI across geographies, Pricing. - Strong in Revenue and Marketing Expense planning and control. - Strong knowledge in P&L Account, Revenue closure and Audit, Legal document review, Revenue Forecast, Internal Audit, Annual Business plan etc. - Should have experience in cost structures, Branch/Plan/ Manufacturing costing/Variance analysis. - Strong experience in Management Accounting, Customer Contracting, Revenue recognition and awareness of LC and other facilities - Should be able to identify non-profitable areas of the business and work with internal stakeholders to bridge the gaps (Sales, Delivery and Functions). - Should be able to get the annual statutory and tax audit completed well in time. Desired Candidate Profile : - CA/ MBA finance - Candidate with minimum of 8 years of experience in IT staffing and must be keen to understand the business and its challenges - Candidates having prior experience of working in the multi-segmental business environment, shall be preferred. - The candidate must have an excellent command of Quick Books
