Purpose of the Job : Migration of policy admin system
Major Challenges :
- Business understanding and impact of various activities to finance function. Accounting and reporting to be developed.
- Compliance with regulations relating to insurance released by IRDAI, various taxation rules, etc
- Participate in new system implementation, starting from creation of business requirement documents, RFPs to vendors, attend product workshops, assess and rank various systems.
- Facilitate selection of best system and ensure implementation as desired.
- Training the various users on new system and be the one stop shop for solutions and problem solving relating to new system
- Ensure no exceptions are made in terms of setup of various products and migration of data from old system to new
- Engage with auditors for and enable audit of various builds, relevant accounts, explanation of system changes, user access controls, etc.
- Review of various suspense accounts to identify gaps, fix them, find automated solutions and plug expected gaps.
- Understanding of insurance accounting and how to setup the same in system which will ultimately aid in creation of trial balance for book closure and financial reporting.
- Team management. Ensure engaged team at all times. Attrition is controlled, jobs satisfaction maintained, work life balance maintained, etc.
Salary Offered : 12-13 LPA
