Financial/Management Reporting and Business Analysis

Accounting & Controlling

- Responsible for overall finance and accounting duties. Ensures direct, timely and accurate preparation of the Company's financial statements (BS, PL & CF), and all other reports for management use

- Monitors statutory accounts to ensure compliance with India accounting and tax regulations and corporate policy

- Analyzes overall financial results and determines underlying reasons for any deviation, which will be raised to functional heads for appropriate action

- Provides financial, fiscal and accounting advice, direction and leadership to senior management

- Establishes financial model with regards to treasury, taxation and controlling in order to ensure optimum cash flow, financing cost and capital employed at competitive rates

- Ensures that the company's assets are safe and secure and that all possible risks have been noted and appropriate insurance policies are in place

- Drives identification and implementation of revisions / improvements to internal financial systems and procedures, and setting up of policies

- Monitoring of compliance implementation and activities

- Good understanding and ability to manage Transfer Price

Financial Planning & Analysis

- Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Forecasting, Operating Plan

- Reviews monthly management accounts against budget and provides variance analysis to support decision making in a timely and accurate manner

- Supports the Senior Management in business development efforts - both organic and inorganic - to drive sustainable growth for Santen in India market

- Gross Margin analysis

- Support management team and the Heads of Department with data-driven analysis

- Evaluating company's current assets and investments, assess if they are best use of company's excess working capital by looking at return on investment

- Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives

- Provides financial advisory support on business, brand and financial plans

- Proposes and drives cost saving initiatives to businesses/functions
