We have an opening for Manager Finance in one of the top Healthcare MNC operating out of Gurgaon.

Role Description:

This role operates within the company's Global Business Services organization to provide high quality accountancy expertise and services to various client businesses within the company. Oversees the performance of complex duties such as analyzing accounts, preparing reports, performing the monthly financial close and consolidation for multiple entities. Measures performance against key performance indicators and metrics, and continually identifies ways to improve and streamline processes. This position will be an invested partner as GBS Asia Pac shifts from a country specific support model to a globally aligned support model. The right candidate will be a change agent, have highly developed relationship management skills and have the ability to manage medium to complex accounting and finance proceses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensuring timely and accurate closure of financial books by analyzing and reviewing the financials

- Independently handling monthly, quarterly & annually books of accounts

- Review monthly journals and ensure timely execution of all close activities

- Review Balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of key MI (Management Information)

- Ensure work is performed within a strong control environment (SOX and general internal controls)

- Relationship Management and Business Partnership is one the key requirement:

Work with strategic business partners to proactively identify, prioritize, facilitate and lead work activities

Document and present conclusions and deliverables to businesses, functions and management with recommendations. Demonstrate proficiency in presenting complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner and facilitating meetings to a solution with key Business stakeholders.

Create selling messages to articulate the value proposition to advocate for and support the change.

Ability to push back and challenge appropriately in a constructive and collaborative manner

- Implements a staffing plan by identifying resource requirements, writing justifications for additional personnel, obtaining approval for changes, and coordinating the selection process with Human Resources

- Develops direct reports by securing appropriate training, assigning progressively challenging tasks, applying progressive disciplinary action as appropriate and conducting formal written and verbal performance reviews.

- Understand end to end flow from transaction initiation to disclosure in the financial accounts and notes to account, trade enrichment of the balance sheet.

- Establishes and communicates accounting processes by maintaining a good understanding of GAAP and new accounting guidance (IFRS) as appropriate.

- Ensuring that the BPO team is managing day to day PTP transaction processing (AP and T&E) and ensuring that the BPO is processing the invoices & reimbursements as per the agreed SLAs

- Supports internal and external audits as appropriate

- Addressing various day to day escalations on a timely manner and implement steps to avoid repetitive issues to bring effectiveness

- Act as change management resource to support business for change management communication

- Sample check and review journals and accounts reconciliation transactions done by GBS- Business Process Outsourcing partner (BPO).

- Mange day to day performance with BPO based on agreed SLA matrix

- Organize monthly meeting with businesses to go through service performance and issue resolution

- Drives continuous improvement and process standardization across multiple legal entities.

- Assist GBS Director to identify and evaluate new service opportunities

- Assist GBS Director to coach team members and skill developments

- Engage with Global Process Stewards and Principals to ensure processes align with global initiatives

- Drive team for regular maintenance/upkeep of Process SOPs/Desk Top Procedures and other process documents. Perform regular reviews of process documentation to ensure compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

- University Degree in accountancy or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant work experience

- 8+ years- experience in similar roles or interactions with shared service organization

- Hands on experience in ATR/PTP and OTC end to end process either interacting with or supporting in a shared service environment

- Solid internal control experience (eg. Sox)

- Manages with metrics

- Strong customer service orientation

- Experience working with virtual, global, cross-functional teams

- Excellent with MS tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and MS Word)

- Hands on experience in ERP Tools (SAP, Hyperion, Concur, Vendor Invoice Management, Cadency, etc.)

- Self-starter and can work under pressure

- Analytical, detailed oriented, accurate with a sense of urgency to complete projects

- Extremely strong fundamentals in Accounting

- Excellent multi-tasking skills. Team-orientation with an ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

- Experience in handling end to end process transitions, starting from feasibility to stabilization phase

Candidates working in ANZ (Australia,New Zealand) environment are preferred.

- Good written & oral communication skills

- The ability to work in a global environment with a strong customer focus, with experience of pro-actively working with demanding customers in a flexible manner.

- Innovative and always looking for continuous improvement

To begin it is with Anz may get extended to other countries like Malaysia, Singapore

- Works directly with the Country Finance managersto ensure service are integrated and performed at the SLA level as well as met SOX control requirements

Manage Accenture BPO team to ensure the transactions handled and performance at the SLA level as well as met SOX control requirements
