Manager - Finance - Healthcare

Responsibilities:

- Take responsibility for the accounting records in line with divisional policy and procedure.

- Participate in and contribute to all major business decisions in respect to financial issues.

- Advise local management in major financial issues, accounting and administrative procedures by analysis and recommendations and contribute to profit development.

- Participate actively in management activities.

- Participate in Global initiatives.

- Report specific adhoc financials matters upon request.

- Exercise effective control over the assets of the business, including stocks, debtors and fixed assets and optimize cash flow.

- Take responsibility for the timely preparation and submission of all internal consolidated periodical reporting.

- Prepare yearly internal and external statutory accounts and coordinate fiscal declarations with tax consultants.

- Manage the planning process of forward plans, annual budgets and quarterly reviews.

- Prepare monthly management accounts to meet the needs of local management.

- Write accountants reports for the various internal reporting.

- Manage internal help desk/internet.

- Manage insurance portfolio (both employers and employees) and contracts (lease, maintenance, etc).

- Manage and develop finance staff.

- This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).

- Engage others, promote, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.

Educational qualification & skills required:

- University Degree (BA degree) required.

- CA and/or MBA plus.

- Controllers education.

- High skills in MS office, particularly Excel and Word.

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

- At least 10 years practical accounting experience in a commercial organization.

- At least 5 years line management experience.

- Experience of IFRS or US GAAP.

- Practical hands-on experience of modern computer-based accounting systems.

- Expertise in accounting and legislation.
