Job Title: Global Billing Manager

Experience required (8 - 14 yrs)

Education qualification - CA / Professional Qualification

Responsible for coordinating and managing the global billing and collection cycle. Specifically by managing a team of billing and cash application staff; directing the day to day billing process; ensuring all invoices conform to customer contractual requirement; and overseeing the global collections process. This position requires superior problem solving skills and the ability to work in a highly visible, deadline oriented environment.

Job Duties:

- Provide direct supervision of billing and cash application staff. Develop checklists and KPI's to allow for monitoring and reporting on key areas

- Liaise with regional sales staff, project management office, and headquarters finance teams on invoicing and collections matters.

- Read and interpret customer contracts to ensure invoicing is in compliance

- See that all cash deposits are reconciled and posted timely to our financial systems

- Develop collection plans to collect overdue invoices through contacting customers, involving Sales and other Finance staff to assist with collection

- Good knowledge on US GAAP accounting principles.

- Contribute to drafting finance Standard Operating Procedures that improve quality of work and reduction in overdue receivables.

- Prepare, review and distribute weekly aged receivable reports to Sales and other team members

- Prepare various monthly reports showing receivable balances and identifying issues

- Filing of quarterly VAT/Service tax and related Income tax statutory compliances.

- Transition experience onsite/offsite relating to accounts receivable / Billing & Collections and accounting activities.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5+ years- experience in working with Global Revenue & Billing activities for group companies with experience in handling customer cash collections

- Prior experience at a software or professional service organization is desirable

- Prior supervision experience is a must.

- Practical experience working with ERP packages as well as implementing ERP systems.

- Ability to handle multitasking and should be able to balance priorities at the same time.
