Manager - Finance - eCommerce

We are looking for a Finance Manager for the E-Commerce / Retail business of an exciting Fashion & Lifestyle Startup based at Mumbai (in Vikhroli West). This Fashion & lifestyle brand will have Apparel, Footwear & Accessory products available online and in MBO, Own store & Franchise outlets within India & abroad.

BRAND & PRODUCT LAUNCH: June 2023.

QUALIFICATION: MBA Finance / CA with E-Commerce / Retail experience.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review & responsible for monthly close process; constantly drive / explore process simplification

- Implement financial policies and guidelines to improve the statutory reporting framework

- Review/ ensure compliance to internal controls, compliance and financial procedures

- Oversee the preparation of monthly / Quarterly & Annual financial statements

- Interface with HR & other relevant Departments to ensure statutory Compliance

- Focal point for Internal / External Audits; manage & support team for a smooth completion

- Oversee the preparation / compliance, including timely filing of all Direct & Indirect tax matters

- Monthly Balance Sheet reviews to ensure Compliance to Policy / Standards / Guidelines & identify any risks. Also, interface with Corporate Accounting / Tax / Treasury for necessary Compliance

- Indian GAAP aligned Reporting & Accounting,

- Business Intelligence & Reports / Analysis,

- MIS, Financial / Flash reports,

- Vendor Contract Management & Payments,

- GST / Taxation and compliances
