This role requires ownership and overseeing company Finance and HR operations for India Office. This is a dual role and job responsibilities are split between Finance and HR domain. This role requires the ability to work in an ambiguous, complex, challenging and fast-paced startup kind of an environment.

Accounting and Finance

- Direct annual budgeting and planning process for the organization's annual budget with CFO. Keeping control of Budgets through systems and processes. Reporting of variances on a periodic basis.

- Prepare Monthly Profitability Reports & Financial Statements.

- Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making

- Ensuring Statutory Compliance of the Company (Areas- Sales Tax, Service Tax, TDS and relevant Areas of Company Law).

- Check and audit all payrolls to ensure legislative compliance is adhered.

- Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles

- Develop external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, bankers, and statutory organizations /authorities

- Develop, maintain and monitor all fundraising and accounting systems and procedures capturing all pledges, billings and receipts and for the recording of all revenue transactions, recommend and implement improvements to systems.

HR & Administration

- Manage all strategic and operational aspects of Talent acquisition, engagement & development, including design and end-to- end implementation of talent programs and processes.

- Design and implement company policies & ensure proper adherence to the same.

- Over-seeing daily operational issues related to Human Resources & Administration Department & resolving the same.

- Prepare recruitment budget, analyzing costs pertaining to job portals, recruitment consultants, newspaper advertisements, negotiating price & terms & approving tie-ups with such agencies.

- Develop, Implement and direct all aspects of the HR function: retention, training and development, career pathing, compensation structures, benefits and reward programs.

- Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-hire)

- Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.

- Act as a business partner and provide dashboards/analytics to business heads/department heads to help them have a pulse of their team.

You should have following skills

- 15+ years of relevant experience in HR and Finance domain.

- Ability to engage with stakeholders and business leadership

- Ability to think independently, strategically and systemically

- Ability to problem solve and negotiate, and strong decision-making skills

- Strong leadership skills

- Strong planning and organizational skills

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
