Manager - Finance - Construction Projects - CA/CWA

Profile

- Strong selfstarter with good analytical capabilities.

- Working experience of Project Controlling and Project accounting

- Understanding of basic concepts of GST act, taxes and customs

- Good reporting skills (MS Office knowledge)

- Knowledge of SAP preferable

Qualification: CA/CWA or similar with relevant experience minimum 6 -8 years

Pre Construction

- Review of Control set up in SAP with respect to Project

- Working on Expected controls from SAP and Reports on Monitoring

- Review of Tax implications item by item at Tender level

- Working with PWC on Filing Advance Ruling on Key activity

- Study of Import of Machinery rule- FTA and Customs working on Financing options and long term cash flow

- Documentation with Banks on regular basis- Any option would require lot of reporting on monthly basis ro RBI

- Co ordination on Secretarial requirement with respect to project

- Commercial Bid handling

- Participate/give inputs for commercial Negotiations

- Vetting of POs/Contracts - Pre issue

- Updation of Budget connected to project planning

- Creation of Budget in System and it's monitoring

Construction Period

- Reviewing RA bills and other Bills from compliance perspective (GST/IT)

- Miantaining Commitment and actual booking against POs

- Checking on Retention amount deduction and other witholding tax deductions

- Accounting for Capital inputs and it's set offs under GST

- Keeping safe custody of Bank Guarantees against Advance and Retention amount

- Adequate Insurance Coverage during erection

- Regular Declarations under Insurance

- Tracking and continous updation of financial estimates

Post Construction

- Accounting for Final bills

- Allocation of common cost

- Preparation of Data for Capitalisation

- Tagging of Assets post capitalisation

- Preparation of final Documentation for Audit/Assessments to serve future needs on this count
