Manager - Finance Communication - Oil & Gas

A leading Oil and Gas major is seeking to hire the underpaid

Manager - Finance Communications :

- The communication professional for the finance function with good written and verbal communication skills and good comprehension of finance and business related matters.

Position Responsibilities :

- Plans, researches, interviews, and drafts copy for corporate and business units- communications projects.

- Participates in meetings with senior officers and other executives to identify key messages and solicits input and/or approval, and provides copywriting and editing services to financial projects.

- Researches write, edits, coordinates review and approval process and distributes financial news releases.

- Executes existing financial communications, which may include subsidiary annual reports, product marketing literature, brochures, and other strategic communications.

- Interacts with other functions to gather desired information.

- Coordinates local, industry and national media activities to ensure that strategic message tracks appear in targeted placements.

- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills required to develop appropriate business communications to all levels of internal and external audiences. (Candidates will be expected to provide samples of original written work.)

- Proven project management skills required to manage complex communications issues

- Possesses a good understanding of digital (Website).

- Demonstrated understanding of strategic communications, such as product development, product and issue positioning, and stakeholder communications.

- Proven ability to work independently, set priorities and meet deadlines.

- Proven ability to create, implement and evaluate communications strategies.

- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to interact effectively with and represent the department at all company levels.

- Demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks with varying priorities while meeting deadlines.

- Demonstrated strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Proven strong creative conceptual skills.

- Familiarity with Associated Press Stylebook expected.

- Knowledge of financial services, insurance or related industry helpful.

Education :

- PG : MBA - Finance/PGDM/PG Degree in Mass Communication.
