Manager - Finance Change Management

Our client is a global financial services provider, engaged in retail and commercial banking, credit cards, investment banking, wealth management and investment management services all over the world.

Overall purpose of role

Work as a Lead under Global Risk & Finance Strategic Change Management and drives global change management initiatives related to Technology, Process or Strategy change projects across the organisation.

Key Accountabilities:

- Gather and analyse Business Requirements and translate these into User Stories and supporting artefacts

- Act as bridge and liaison between Business and IT teams, translating needs and Requirements into Product Backlog Items

- Manage Process Improvement within agreed operational functions. Identify and implement improvements in process and conduct regular process review cycles

- Design and Document As-Is Process based upon discussions with SMEs & document the in-scope processes/sub-processes and known issues/pain points system & process study

- Identify business benefits and provide inputs to the Business Case for Change & Transformation Roadmap

- Creating & updating BRD, Project Plan, Test Plan, Process Maps, Trackers and also estimating timescales and costs

- Understanding data flow & extraction, analyze data quality & create mappings to migrate data for each ledger

- Coordinating & Managing UAT, OAT & Data Proving cycles of testing with Business users

- Scheduling, managing, measuring and reporting test execution progress & preparing test closure report to obtain sign-off

- Collaborating with different stakeholders & business users to design the project /test strategies & plans

- Providing trainings to business user across different geographical locations

- Working & coordinating with Transition managers during migrations

Skills and Qualifications

Post graduate degree in Business / Finance or equivalent practical experience.

5 years + Project Management experience in a financial services firm or multi-national where they have been responsible for managing finance re-engineering projects and change initiatives.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PRINCE 2 Practitioner with experience in: - Project & Change Management, Transformation - Implementation, Testing, Process Re-engineering, Process Transitions

Extensive experience of managing large integration and organizational transformation programs within Banking & Financial Services

Experience writing Product Backlog Items/User Stories, Acceptance Criteria using SCRUM Agile methodology

Creating Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional specification document (FSDs) for enhancements in the current processes and Application & creating stories in JIRA

Leading workshops as an adviser & provide guidance to Operational teams to enable continuous process improvement and innovation

Managing Project Plan through the lifecycle, Risks, Governance Structure, Project sign-off and Reviews
