- Supervision of General accounting function to make sure timely and accurate accounting.
- Close the books on monthly basis and define time tables & key tasks to ensure monthly reports are submitted within established timeline
- To supervise and guide accounting team on routine accounting matters related to all accounting sub processes i.e.
- Accounts Payable,
- Accounts receivable,
- Fixed Assets Accounting,
- Inventory Accounting and
- Drive process simplification, automation and improvement initiatives.
- Responsible for Credit control functions to make sure the followings:-
- Draft credit control policy and roll out the same.
- Set the monthly collection targets and circulate outstanding for all business on weekly basis with highlighting the overdue customers.
- Weekly collection monitoring and follow up to achieve the target collections.
- Preparation of proposal for AR written off / provision for Bad debts with justification
- To get annual accounts for the financial year audited within target time line
- Controlling Accounting payable and vendor reconciliation
- To ensure compliance with internal controls and standard operating procedures.
- To assist in review of Standard Operating Procedures and drive implementations.
- Implement and maintain Internal controls. Implement corrective actions in response to internal audit findings.
- ERP system implementation lead and responsible for maintaining the masters.
Required requisites :
Experience and Qualifications :
- Chartered Accountant with 10 to 15 years of experience with expertise in accounting principles, accounting standards, and taxation laws.
- Experience of independently handling accounting and reporting functions in a mid size MNC/ Indian Company
- Ability to collaborate with Sales, Marketing and cross functional teams.

- Excellent PC skills,
- Preferably experienced in SAP
