Finance Manager JOB DESCRIPTION : Position : Finance Manager Reports to : Head of Finance and Operations Location : Delhi Main Responsibilities : - Managing the day-to-day operations and responsible for End to End Accounting including AP, AR, month end closing and reporting. - Timely & accurate processing Vendor Payment, accounting, Monthly Expense provisions, Monthly Trial Balance review. - Monthly Closing Activities involving Finalization of Monthly Accounts & preparation of Balance Sheet & P&L Statement of the company - Annual accounts preparation and assisting the auditors in the statutory / Internal Audit conducted in the due course during the financial year. - Should be able to manage the complete GST compliance life cycle with a team including reviewing monthly and annual GST returns, lead GST audits, etc. - Deduct and deposit withholding tax, and complete related compliances. - Manage, control and ensure that company accounting activities and procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles and internal SOPs - Work on preparing forecast and budgets along with variance analysis - Ensure that all financial transactions are handled and processed in-line with the approved policies and procedures - Ensure that internal financial controls are in place at functions and provide recommendations for procedural improvements - Work closely with Head of Finance in providing financial insights about the company performance & suggestive actions - Support for various business functions through analytics and insights - Ensuring compliance with all legislative tax and financial reporting requirements. The Ideal Candidate : - Qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 6-8 years of hands-on corporate experience in the field of accounts and finance. - Candidate should be handling end to end accounts and finance till finalization - Should be updated on the latest Accounting standards, including IndAS - Should have a strong knowledge of balance sheet, AP/AR, preparation of financial statements, financial closing and month end closing. - Ability to effectively interface with senior management and key stakeholders. - ERP (like Tally,SAP/S/4 etc.) experience essential - Strong interpersonal and written and oral communication skills - Having sound knowledge of tax and withholding laws - Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high quality work within tight deadlines
