Purpose of the role: Play a pivotal role in financial operations, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial guidance. This incumbent is responsible for ensuring the company's financial health and compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Budget Management:
- Prepare, monitor, and manage the company's budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide recommendations for cost reductions, revenue enhancements, and profit improvements.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company's liquidity.
- Optimize working capital to support operational requirements.
Auditing and Compliance:
- Coordinate and manage financial audits, ensuring the company's financial statements are accurate and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with financial and accounting regulations, and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
Financial Reporting:
- Generate accurate financial reports, statements, AP,AR and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management:
- Assess and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
- Develop strategies to mitigate potential financial threats.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize financial performance.
- Conduct financial analysis, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, to provide management with critical insights.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, including accountants and analysts.
- Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional development.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce. MBA / CA will be an added advantage.
- 4-8 years of experience working in IT companies in Financial analysis, budgeting, Audit, Taxation and Payroll.
- Proven experience in financial management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
