Finance Manager-Senegal-West Africa

FRENCH LANGUAGE IS A MUST
EXPERIENCE WORKING IN WEST AFRICA FRANCOPHONE COUNTRIES REQUIRED.
Responsibilities for Finance Manager :
- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting
- Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for senior company leadership
- Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests
- Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Manage general accounting functions; scope of management includes monthly accounting closing of the transactions for the relevant areas of responsibility in compliance with financial controls and GAAP.
- Deliver timely and accurate analysis of financial results and position for your areas of responsibility, including the preparation of a monthly financial reporting package comparing current period results and financial position to prior period comparatives and position, explaining key variations.
- Manage internal and external audits and reviews, as well as any ad-hoc regulatory or compliance requirements.
- Proactively identify areas of risk in financial reporting, accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Use your experience and expertise to develop best practices in all areas of finance and accounting
- Provide expertise in creating systems and processes to adhere to GAAP and internal control requirements
- Partner with operational leaders and corporate strategy team on annual budgeting
Requirement :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and Chartered Accountant.
- 5-8 years of experience in accounting with any Agro commodity Trading company
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
- Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
