We are looking for a young and competent finance professional to support our client's business objectives in India and SAARC region. Our client is a European MNC and a global leader in Forest and Garden, Watering and Construction products, with growing operations in India. The primary responsibilities are as below and will include monthly, annual and periodical tasks covering the company's manufacturing, sales and service functions: - Support the set-up and implementation of financial controls and metrics within the organization (across manufacturing, sales and service) - Budgeting; review and variance analysis - Reporting - Analysis - MIS - Monthly and periodical closing - Costing - Handling all general accounting and tax functions - GST, TDS, Indirect, etc. - monthly and annual compliance norms - Establish and execute internal controls over the company's accounting and financial procedures, such as: - Invoices management - Receivables and Payables - Audits - Internal and external - Employee dues and related compliance - Profit centre accounting and reporting - Statutory compliances like Factories Act, Shops &amp; Establishment act, EPF, Labour Laws, Companies Act, Income Tax act, Transfer Pricing - Support the country, regional and global management through in-depth financial analysis and providing expert financial perspectives: - Planning and forecasting - Risk assessment - Efficiency analysis - Monthly management reporting &amp; dashboards for management and senior leadership review - Implementation of policy decisions made by management Candidate requirements - CA with 4-8 years of experience in a multinational manufacturing environment - Knowledge of costing - Hands on experience in ERP systems - Exposure to Indian GAAP and international accounting norms such as IFRS - Current knowledge of relevant Indian laws, statutes and regulations and their application, related legal / tax issues, compliance and reporting obligations, - Strong commercial acumen - Accounting platform knowledge, - High level of competency in Microsoft Office (especially excel spreadsheets) and a strong understanding of IT systems and applications. - Strong communication skills in English both written and spoken - Willingness to travel to company's facilities as and when required - Language proficiency: English, Hindi and Tamil - Ability to display firmness and also collaborate with diverse stakeholders The company is in an exciting stage of growth in the region and offers several opportunities in career progression for competent and performing employees.
