We at tracers India are sourcing for the manufacturing client in Mumbai for their Marketing Department:

Role Title : Manager- Federal & State Reimbursement / Insurance Accounts

Department : Market Access

Reports to : Head - Oncology Policy & Market Access

Job Responsibilities :

- This purpose of this role is to drive the access of Oncology Brands in the Federal & State Reimbursement / Insurance programs by developing compelling policy ideas to promote priority disease areas in Oncology and creating demand for products.

- This role is supposed to Identify of health sector programs and funding mechanisms that can offer a strong platform for Public Private Partnerships by stream of value-added disease management solutions through customization / uniqueness to enhance competitiveness and create business impact.

- Since a significant proportion of Oncology Business is driven through Key Accounts, this role will serve as a Single Point of Contact to liaise with all Key Account Managers across the country to develop the Strategy to grow business in these accounts and monitor execution with Key Performance Indicators.

- Effectively support introduction of new compounds rapidly into the Reimbursement Segment at a price which commensurate with the value of the new compound.

- Develop and execute market access strategies to influence and accelerate favorable pricing and reimbursement decisions for key market brands and new launches with Region for approval and with Key Accounts to ensure listing

- Develop Key Account Management Strategy & Action Plan in association with Oncology Sales Team and CPO Key Account Management Team to drive execution with Stakeholder engagement

- Work with the CPO Pricing & Market Access Team to participate in Public Private Partnership opportunities in various States to by stream of value-added disease management solutions to create compelling Business Proposition

- Work with the Medical, Patient Relations & Marketing Teams to by develop compelling policy ideas to promote priority disease areas in Oncology and creating demand for products.

- Create network and relationship with Key Decision Makers in the Health Ministry of Federal & State Governments to capture insights about activities and actions in order to influence company business strategy formulation.

- Participate in local Market Access committees and activities with General Medicines towards prioritization, alignment, sharing experiences and best practices.

- Continuously map the changes in the health insurance sector to identify key access and opportunities and any business risks

- Ensure qualitative and quantitative input into Budget and Strategic Plans for planning accuracy.

- Achievement of Country Revenue & P&L Targets

- Achievement of Health Insurance Market Access and Patient Access goals for Federal & State Insurance/Reimbursement Segments

Key Performance Indicators :

- Achievement of Project specific KPIs like Value per Patient, Key Account Business Growth and Sustainable Business Modeling

- Effective use and improvement of tracking systems to measure access in the relevant segments

- Positive relationships and reputation Key Decision Makers in the Health Ministry of Federal & State Governments

- Code of conduct compliance

Education : Minimum: University degree, Desirable: MBA or equivalent

Experience :

- At least 8 -10 years in a Pharmaceutical/ Health care environment working with Key Accounts at Federal & State Insurance / Reimbursement Accounts

- Experience of developing unique value proposition suitable to available reimbursement

- Established relationship with Key Decision Makers in the Health Ministry of Federal & State Governments

- Experience of working with Health Policy & Government Relations

- Project management and implementation with Quantitative/Quantitative analysis skills
