Short Description of Role :

- You will help to develop and execute a program to strengthen the reputation of our Client's India office.

- The role is part of a team that is essential to shaping and building the firm's reputation, increasing our client's relevance by disseminating the firm's knowledge, shaping the debate on the most important topics for clients and influencers, and creating new opportunities for clients to engage with our client.

Who you will work with :

- Our Client's India Communications team

- Director of Communications, India, and Asia

- India Partners and Practice leaders.

- You will also collaborate regularly with external relations colleagues in various industry and functional practices throughout the firm.

What you will do :

- Position the firm and its work externally in a positive and accurate light by liaising with the media, preparing positioning statements and other requisite materials

- Drive dissemination of the Firm's latest research and perspectives to targeted audiences via relevant channels.

- Expand the depth and breadth of the firm's network of relationships with external stakeholders

- Enhance office and practice publishing and supporting the development of India content for our client's website.

- Enhance our client's reputation by sourcing high-level public speaking and publishing opportunities

- Building reputation through media relations, public relations (including events and conferences), and public affairs activities

- Storyboarding and helping produce videos

- Provide publication-ready writing and editing support for external communications, including, but not limited to, event invitations, digital communications, talking points, internal memos, presentation materials, and digital and/or social media posts

- Advise firm members on external relations best practices and direct firm members to existing guidelines and policies, particularly those around professional standards, risk, and external communications.

Qualifications :

- 10 to 15 years-experience of external relations in India, including day-to-day handling of media-relations and managing reputation risk

- Multinational company or Professional services, experience strongly preferred

- Thorough understanding of external channels including broadcast and print media, digital and social

- Experience of working with large, complex organizations and a proven ability to balance the needs of different stakeholders

- A team builder and collaborator

- Good writer/ editor

- A track record working as part of a team in building/orchestrating successful, creative, pro-active external relations programs

- Demonstrated ability to rapidly absorb a wide range of complex business and policy issues; strong interest in knowledge development and dissemination

- Ability to create a solid internal and external network to ensure successful execution of events and other activities

- Exceptional organizational, project management, and interpersonal and communication skills.
