Manager/Expert - WiFi Product

Job Description:

- Provide technical leadership for in home WiFi related issues, products

- Work with customers and various in-house teams to understand pattern of WiFi and in-home router related issues and provide holistic solutions

- Quickly troubleshoot related issues and provide RCA, implement AIs

- Evaluate and implement tools related to WiFi related troubleshooting

- Prepare and maintain SOPs of processes for WiFi related deployment and troubleshooting

- Evaluate various WiFi routers, mesh, repeaters and gateways

- Vendor relationship management for issues, upgrade, new product evaluation etc.

- Work with new product team to define requirements for in-house WiFi based smart home gateway

- Work with vendor and ensure delivery of smart home gateway as per specifications

- Train THD, NOC & field teams to troubleshoot WiFi related issues effectively

- Analyse fault trends and plan preventive actions

- Ensure timely publishing of relevant reports and statistics

Requirements:

1. Should have 4-7 Years of work experience in Telco/ISP or WiFi product background

2. Must have in depth expertise in Wireless Technologies such as 802.1b/g/n, 802.11ac,

3. Should have in depth expertise in various factors impacting in home WiFi experience

4. Should be able to configure WiFi routers and debug issues.

5. Should have experience of testing and troubleshooting WiFi related issues

6. Should understand TCP/IP incl. IPv6, basic switching and routing, DHCP & DNS

7. Should understand IoT related technologies

8. Should be available 24-7 for emergency situations

9. Should be able to work in very late night for planned activities

10. Should be able to work with geographically distributed teams from a central location

1. CCNA/CCNP Certification is Preferred.

2. Understanding of FTTH & GPON concepts is an advantage

Must have done BE/B.Tech or equivalent in Computer Engineering/Electronics & Communication Engineering/Electronics & Electrical Engineering
