We are looking to hire a very energetic and business/sales focused candidate for a very reputed Organization. - The ideal candidate should have an MBA in marketing from a recognized institution - Minimum 10 years of experience in either of the following: Sponsorship/sales/business development roles - A demonstrable record of success in new business development/sales roles Excellent interpersonal communications skills, including tact & assertiveness and the ability to communicate at all levels - Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail - Proficiency in Microsoft office: Excel, PowerPoint and Word - Ability to work with potential contacts and co-ordinate the activities at all levels both internally and externally - Motivated by the opportunity to support Organization mission - Proven relationship management and stake holder engagement experience - Strong negotiation skills and experience negotiating vendor contract - Ability to multi-task and manage multiple events and clients Should be open to a traveling job - The Sponsorship Manager-Events plays a key role in the development and implementation of well-planned sponsorship strategy to meet the team's financial objectives. - As part of the events team, the candidate will carry out income generation activity, primarily through securing sponsorship for our national and flagship events. - The candidate will be responsible for all areas of the event sponsorship sales process, including research, creating databases & collaterals, meetings and closing the deals, negotiation, signing off contracts and receivables. The candidate will also be responsible for relationship building and management with key accounts on a long term basis. - Develop high quality, commercially successful event sponsorship models - To secure event sponsorship and participation beyond the existing pool of regular sponsors including non-tech companies to achieve stretched income targets - Build and maintain strong external relationships with potential sponsors, corporate non-tech companies and supporters, through securing and leading new business meetings and maintaining strong relationships - Writing high quality communications documents, including sponsorship materials as required - Ensure that all approaches to the clients are tracked consistently, through tracking spreadsheets. Create and update sales status reports including identified suspects, prospects, direct leads, confirmed sales and present them on a weekly basis. - Approach and maintain relationship with clients - Develop and grow client database through networking - Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell to deliver opportunities that meet client needs Success Measures : - Sponsorship income that meets agreed targets - Increase in the number of non-tech and tech companies as clients - Satisfied clients translating into signing year on year long-term deals You may call me on 9811946546.
