Manager - Event Operations

Job Description :

- The Event Operations Manager for India will lead a team of talented technicians operating services in multiple time zones and countries.

- You will work with your peer teams around the world to standardize operations to provide Amazonians with a seamless, delightful experience.

- Post Covid-19 restrictions, travel up to 30% will be required.

Your responsibilities :


The extent of your duties will include but not be limited to :

- Manage multi-locations teams of technical resources providing IT Support and Event Operations Support to customers across India.

- Understand the technologies and challenges connected with in-person, virtual and live-streamed events production and post-production.

- Manage the complexity of coordinating interdependent services within the same structure (IT support, AV Support, Livestreaming and Events) to optimize the resources.

- Ensure that IT maintenance work and troubleshooting is carried out to a high standard and follows all Amazon polices and guidelines, specifically IT and Health & Safety.

- Lead the coordination of incidents, service requests and change management to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

- Inspire continuous improvement of all IT team processes and initiatives: you'll get behind our Fulfillment department continually driving operational excellence.

- Work with the other regional managers to improve and streamline the service to the highest standards.

- Manage the IT budget, through its lifecycle and encourage, support and facilitate IT skill development of Corporate IT services staff.

- Review customer feedback and anecdotes and take actions to measurably improve customer experience.

- Perform employee performance reviews and collaborate with your employees and peers to create and promote training regionally and globally

- Review employee satisfaction data with employees and take actions to improve employee engagement.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS : 14+ years of IT experience post education including 3 years of experience within relevant industries, including IT support, Events (Livestreaming, Virtual, Off-Site, On-Site) and AV/VC technologies

- 5 years of experience managing teams working from multiple locations

- Ability to adjust work schedule to business needs

- Ability to travel up to 30%
