Manager - Equity Analyst - Investments

Main Responsibilities:

- Person will be primarily responsible to do research of portfolio companies and will track diverse sectors under his / her coverage.

- He / she will also be responsible to do the research on broader economic indicators, sector dynamics along with timely help in day to day functioning of the Investment team.

- The role of an equity analyst is to analyse business model & financial data to forecast the company's intrinsic value. This job is focused heavily on research and analysis.

- Identification of "new stock ideas" in his / her sectors to generate "alpha" in the portfolio

- Identification of emerging trends in his / her sectors & monitoring of portfolio companies on daily basis

- Quarterly Review of Portfolio companies

- Developing the strategy of overweight / underweight on the sector

- Initiate the Daily Strategy Note describing strategy for the day for the discussion with FM & Head of Investment

- Support Fund Manager & Head of Investments in managing the Investment portfolio to achieve the KPI of Dept

- Helping the Investment team in day to day activities

- Support Head of Investments in MIS & Other Reporting. He/She will be closely working with Fund Manager & Head of Investment.

Qualification and Skills:

- MBA / CA

- 4 - 8 years experience in Indian Equity market

- Relevant experience in Credit rating Agency / Insurance / MF / Brokers/ Banks etc

- Sound understanding of Financial modelling of companies

- Good understanding of Macro economic variables

- Good Communication / Presentation Skills

Educational Qualifications: Any graduation, and MBA/PGDM Finance, CA 

Skills Required : Understanding of Indian economy and equity market, Statistical Analytical Ability, Basic Knowledge of Portfolio Construction & Review, Understanding of Risk Management in Investing, Sound Excel & PPT skills,
