Manager - Environment - Chemicals

Environment Manager (Gujarat) for a very large and global Indian MNC growing rapidly in domestic as well as global markets.

- M.Sc /B.Tech with minimum 8 years of well-rounded experience in all aspects of Environment Management and Protection.

Position Purpose :

Lead - Environment Development Activities will be responsible for conducting lab and pilot trials for treatability study on effluent, lab study on hazardous waste and efficiency study of APC equipment in lab to assist Head-Environment for identifying improvement potential in existing EMS and suggest best technological solution for environmental norms of existing and proposed manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct lab study on asses the ETP efficiency of different stages

- Conduct pilot trials and interpret the results

- Develop the treatment scheme or pathway for effluent streams from new products at the R&D scale and review for existing effluent streams.

- Identify opportunity for low cost environmental friendly treatment for existing waste streams

- Get updated with latest technological development in Environment Management and implement cost effective technology across company.

- Prepare proposal for implementation of technological solution and assist in implementation.

- Dealing with various waste handling agencies for treatment and disposal of wastes.
