Manager - Engineering - Online/eCommerce

What You'll Do :

- Engage and manage a team of software engineers, including task planning and code reviews

- Have engineering ownership of the product; Plan the evolution of the technology stack; Ensure product robustness and scalability

- Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables

- Grow your team members, by focusing on their learning and career aspirations

- Build a strong culture within the team, and help drive a positive and inclusive culture in nurture.farm

- Help build engineering as a center of excellence, with focus on a strong SDLC - Build a highly agile and efficient team

What You'll Need :

- BE Computer Science, or similar field of study, or equivalent practical experience.

- 10 years of relevant work experience, including technical management of software developers and system administrators/architects.

- Experience designing and implementing distributed systems.

- At least 2 years of experience in leading highly-complex, technically-challenging, cross-functional software oriented projects from inception to delivery.

- Experience leading a team of Software Engineers focused on improving developer velocity, scalability, or testability

- Experience providing technical expertise throughout the product life cycle including design, implementation, and delivery of scalable build/test/release infrastructure.

- Experience defining team strategy and roadmap for the adoption of developer tools and test infrastructure for one or more products.

- Excellent C++, Java, Go and/or Python skills.

- Understanding of the Agritech domain and application of technology in farming.
