Job Description :

1. Collective Bargaining

- Support in preparation Management Charter of Requirement of Blue Collar and present it to the Management.

- Carry out the Wage Survey across different automobile industries which include understanding of different wage components of various companies, industries, analyze & prepare report.

- Present it to Management Negotiation Team for ratification.

- Analysis and Impact of the Union Charter of Demands.

- Facilitate and support amicable negotiations with peaceful & cordial atmosphere.

- Draft the clauses of settlement as per directives of Management.

- Strategic Thinking on ER matters.

- Keep an eye on latest happenings in IR domain and update management on such issues.

2. Employee Engagement Activities

- Strengthen Interpersonal relations with Blue Collars by one to one meetings, new initiatives.

- Design Training Programs for Blue Collars for ensuring awareness about Industrial Relations.

- Organize of Out Bound Training Program with Union Committee Members

- Design and implement activities like Parivar Milan, Kshitij which involves direct involvement of Blue Collar and their families.

3. CSR Initiatives

- Design and implement CSR Policy

- Co-ordinate with various vendors for various CSR initiatives.

4. Design & Implementation of Policies

- Design and implement various policies applicable to the workmen category.

5. Addressing Labour Issues & Disciplinary Action

- Address the Labour Issues in the plant.

- Take appropriate disciplinary action like issuance of Warning Letters, Show cause Notice.

- Represent the Management in case of any legal proceedings like domestic enquiry, industrial court and close coordination with advocates.

6. Contract Labour Management

- Intimation to the Labour Commissioner Office, in respect of Addition / Deletion of Contractor/s by way of application with required details.

- Monitor the Minimum Wages of Contract Labourers as per Circular of Labour Commissioner along with Contractor's rate to be paid by the Company to the Contractors.

- Renewal of Company's Registration Certificate every year.

- Issuance of Form No. 5 to the Contractor, if they use 20 or more than 20 labourers in the Company's premises.

- Attend the Contract Labour Inspection as decided by the Government Labour Officer,

- Provident Fund Commissioner regarding the P.F. of Contract Labourers and submit all required documents.

- File Annual Return of Contract Labour as per Contract Labour (R&A) Act, 1970 and to submit the same Labour Commissioner Office in time.

- Maintenance of Form No. 8 regarding monthly salary of Contract Labourers to be paid by the Contractors.

- Verification of Contractor's monthly bills whereby certified that Contractor's have paid statutory minimum wages to his labourers along with ensure that Contractor have deposited

- Provident fund share of his labourers to the Provident Fund authority through P.F. Challans.

- Issuance of company's letter to the Contractor in case of non-compliance rules under Contract Labour Act, 1970.

- Attend the Court matter in case of failure the matter before labour commissioner and forward the said matter by him to the Labour / Industrial Court/Mathadi.

7. Mediclaim / P.A.Policy (White & Blue Collars):

- Follow up regarding rejected claims and discuss the issues for non settlement

- Submission of required documents in time to settle the claim.

- Intimation regarding accident to the Insurance Company.

- Handover the Cheque of Personal accident policy in case of death of employee to the family members.

- Track monthly addition and deletion for the employees and to inform to Insurance Company.

8. Implementation of Legatrix System

- Ensure periodically government compliance are followed and update the same in Legatrix system.

9. Liasoning of Graduate and Diploma Apprentice

- Register the Graduate and Diploma Apprentice on board with the company with the Board of Apprentice Training, Mumbai

- Facilitate all the documentation regarding the same with the Board of Apprentice Training
