- To identify all applicable statutes across the plant in various fronts. Maintain legal calendar & ensure 100% compliance.
- Formulation, Implementation, Review & updation of Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Management system in order to achieve objectives set by EHS Policy.
- Identification, Evaluation, Elimination & control of potential/existing risk/hazards likely to cause injury to personnel & damage to machine/ equipment/building for Accident/Incident prevention & Total loss control. Co-ordination for internal/external audits, adequacy review & rationalisation of insurance coverage.
- Need assessment of Fire & Safety requirements for existing plant/expansion, Safety adequacy review of new equipment/installation, Design review of new machines & layout/drawing approval.
- Preparation & to update the on-site plan, Off site plan Co-ordination, Set-up of emergency organisation, disaster management training, Mock drill & rehearsal, Co-ordination for mutual aid.
