Manager - EHS

Desired Skills / Educational Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of EHS compliances and implementation of ISO and BSC standards

- Good exposure of audit and various building certifications

- NBC 2016 knowledge including IS standards related to EHS and fire safety

- EHS legal compliance knowledge viz waste management, building compliance etc

- Some exposure to other technical compliances

- Strong Communication & presentation skills

- Engagement with vendors and consultants

- Corporate Presentations, HIRA, Job Safety Analysis, Safety Inspection, HSE Management, QHSE Coordinator, Environmental Monitoring

- Technology-friendly for using IT platforms in areas of responsibility

- Industrial OHS experience will be an added advantage

Primary responsibilities:

- Own the ISO, LEED , BSC and other certifications on our Campuses. Identify opportunities for new certifications and implement based on management decisions. Responsible to maintain suitable internal process controls for ISO, BSC and other certification including safety.

- Responsible for ensuring compliance on all EHS, Technical and related aspects. Ensure statutory reporting & license renewals across portfolio. Report and escalate on compliance related matters to leadership team as per process.

- Identify opportunities for improvement in areas of EHS performance and collaborate with operations for implementation.

- Ensure audit program is implemented for managed portfolio to cover EHS. Concerns to be escalated and monitored for resolution. Collaboration required with operations, procurement, and finance for resolutions.

- Drive internal & external communication in case of any health / environmental emergencies.

- Manage Legal Compliance

- Support clients for IMS and other certifications

Years of Experience: 8-10 years

Qualification: Graduate / Post Graduate Diploma: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) or similar degree.
