RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research, review, compile, analyze and interpret economic data to prepare reports detailing results of performed research.
- Identify economic indicators in respect to trends of the national and local economies.
- Prepare or support the preparation of responses to economic data requests from senior leaders etc.
- Draft POVs on key economic issues
- Assess economic impact of tax laws and proposals
- Maintain records and reports related to the work.
- Perform related work as assigned.
THE CANDIDATE:
- Graduate/Post graduate in Economics
- 5-7 years of experience where the application of economic models and techniques were used to perform analysis in support of business decisions
- Ability to accurately process and analyze data in different formats.
- Ability to take ownership of a project and to accurately and efficiently produce results.
- Should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of MS office suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Senior level adaptability
- Active listening skills
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with shared resources
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
SELECTION PROCESS
Candidates should expect a technical test and 1-2 rounds of personal interviews to assess fitment and communication skills.
