The Third Party Due Diligence services are a part of the Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services (FIDS) provided by the client. The service line particularly looks into conducting background checks on the vendors or other affiliated parties of the clients in order to understand the risk involved while getting into possible business relations with such third parties. The following kind of information and red flags are sort after while conducting searches:

Background details like business operations, recent financials, affiliated groups/ entities, shareholders, key personnel, areas wherein the entity performs its business activities etc.

Adverse media

Litigations

Political/ Government relations

FCPA/ UKBA/ OFAC enforcements.

Bribery or corruption charges

The information is extracted by conducting secondary research using subscribed databases and public domain. In addition to this the candidate might have to do cold calling and site visits to have a better understanding of the third party, if required.

Academic Qualification - Graduates/Post Graduate

Required:

The position requires candidates to assist clients with due diligence, background checks and reputational risk assessment services by gathering information on specific targets (individuals/ entities) in order to highlight any red-flags in order to enable the client to identify issues of concern and managing their risk especially integrity, reputation and background risks. The position is apt for people who:

- Are inclined towards desktop research by using multiple proprietary databases and general secondary sources

- Knowledge of various red flags while entering into third party relations

- Knowledge of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), UK Bribery Act (UKBA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) guidelines.

- Are willing to learn and go the extra mile to achieve client delight

- Are good at working in a team in a collaborative approach towards achieving a common objective

- Knowledge of FIDS/ Forensic industry
