Job Description :
- Manage disputes relating to breach of contract, insurance claims, intellectual property, professional negligence and regulatory challenges, as well as transaction and shareholder disputes
- Present your case effectively to a court or tribunal
- Determine independently and objectively the quantum of damages suffered by your business
- Obtain additional financial evidence in support of your case
- Mitigate value leakage from corporate deals after closing
Academic Qualification :
- CA / CFA / MBA Finance from Tier 1 College
- Achievement of or significant progress towards a CFA, or related certification with the expectation of one completed designation within a given timeframe
Requisite Experience :
- 2-6 years of exp. in business valuations and report writing - having worked for a sector agnostic reputed valuation firm or dispute advisory firm.
Requisite Skills :
- Microsoft Office - Word; Excel; Power point - Advanced Skills required.
- Good communication, writing and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in valuation software such as Capitaline, Ace Equity, Cap IQ etc.
- Knowledge of various financial reporting standards and laws such as Indian GAAP, IndAS, Companies Act, 2013, IBC, 2016
- Knowledge and ability to analyse Financial Statements, perform ratio analysis and interpretation of the same.
- Knowledge in financial valuation, financial modelling, business planning.
- Ability to perform valuation analysis on a wide range of public and private entities using all accepted and relevant approaches and theory.
- Exposure to performing valuation exercise for dispute / arbitration purposes would be an added advantage
Job Description :
- Perform valuation of businesses and Intangibles for disputes purposes to assist the lawyers in quantifying the claims.
- Designing financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, intangible assets.
- Presenting the results of the analysis in a clear and concise manner.
- Analytical skills to perform detailed reviews of financial models, arrive at preliminary conclusions and present the findings in a report format to clients.
- Work closely with the valuation division of the firm, if required and cater to their requirements.
