Manager/Director - External Communications

Our Communications group builds position, awareness and value for the firm, its brand and its core products. Covering brand, PR, design, content marketing, distribution, advertising, partner marketing and more.

Job Responsibilities : 

- Guide the team in designing and managing the effective writing, editing and publishing of content for print and digital channels including web, social media, event material, and one on one communications

- Increase our efficiency through knowledge management and quality assurance

- Deliver high quality output at a fast pace, in line with a content plan

- Lead communications connected to event delivery and contribute to production plan

- Multimedia production (video, audio, graphic, video, photography). Support other marketing functions as needed

Education : 

- Master's in Communications, Journalism, International Development, Creative Writing

Professional Experience : 

- 10+ years of professional experience in marketing and communications

- Experience as a communications leader in a corporate environment, ideally in a large binternational organisation

- Passion for social change, and proven commitment to work in the business and social sector

- Robust budget and line management experience

Skills : 

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

- Ability to multitask and bring robust time-management skills in a multi-stakeholder and fast-paced client services environment

- Comprehensive and strategic understanding of digital, social and content marketing best practices

- Exceptional editorial judgement, prioritisation and writing skills

- Structured planning and project leadership. Moving stakeholders towards hard deadlines

- Stakeholder and vendor management skills

- Leadership skills. Leading teams by example

- Above all, a dynamic, highly energetic and passionate individual

- Ability to travel domestically or internationally.
