Manager - Direct Taxation - Manufacturing Firm - CA

- Be a custodian of all Direct taxes compliances for the company and its subsidiaries & the Management (IT Returns, TDS Returns, Tax Auditing Report)

- Respond to all income tax notices and assist in preparation of submissions for assessments handled by consultant.

- Work on Advance Tax Computations

- Manage Annual Tax Audit

- Assist the Finance team in closure of half yearly and annual audits by providing tax computations, required direct tax related data and reconciliations

- Advise on various issues and queries on TDS applicability

- Advise on applicability of withholding tax on foreign payments and ensuring all relevant documents are collected before remittances

- Lead tax planning initiatives and advise on Income tax applicability during acquisitions, etc.

- Prepare and submit monthly update report or data as & when required

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Qualified CA with 3-5 years of experience in Direct Tax preferably with Manufacturing/Tier 1 organisations

- Should have exposure in corporate taxation, Tax Assessments, Tax Audit,

- Finalisation of advance taxes

- Exposure in International Transactions will be an added advantage
