Job Description - As the Direct Taxation Manager you will have complete ownership of taxation related matters handling issues and making decisions from a statutory as well as business perspectives

Description

As the Direct Taxation Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

- Coordinating and managing the entire direct tax returns filing for the organisation

- Managing timely tax compliance, handling auditors, appeals and scrutiny

- Directing the finance team on the computation of tax related entries for the purposes of reporting accurate financial statements

- Representing the organisation in income tax litigation up to the ITAT level

- Partnering with business closely and regularly to ensure that taxation practices are best in class and management is availing of all opportunities in the market

Profile

As a successful candidate, you are a Chartered Accountant with more than 5 years of specialized direct taxation experience. You have particularly strong knowledge in transfer pricing, international taxation and are well versed with compliance, litigation, and advisory.

Ideally, you come from a manufacturing company of considerable scale. Alternatively, you have experience in consulting firms with a primarily manufacturing and production client base
