1. Preparation of technical replies for income tax assessment and transfer pricing assessment and preparation of Transfer Pricing Study Report. Review and updation of details in connection with assessment proceedings. 2. Preparation of appeals before the CIT(A) and ITAT, preparation of written submissions and Paper Book for filing before the CIT(A) and ITAT. 3. Review of assessment orders, appeal orders passed by the CIT(A) and ITAT, rectification orders passed by the Assessing Officer and taking further course of action i.e., filing of rectification application / appeals against orders received.Preparation / review of replies to various notices received from the Income Tax Department. 4. Verification and updationof Tax Audit Reports, Transfer Pricing Reports, Form 29B, income tax computations and notes forming part of return in light of change in laws and procedures and review of advance tax workings, tax provisions etc. 5. Attending hearings before the income tax and appellate authorities for assessment and appeal proceedings and pursue with the income tax department for pending issues and obtaining refunds. 6. Review and updation of application for lower tax deduction certificates, application for obtaining permission u/s.281, obtaining tax residency certificates etc. 7. Providing opinion on applicability of TDS with respect to non-resident payments and support in respect of applicability of TDS in respect of payment to residents on need basis. 8. Track and monitor changes in the Income-tax Act, procedures, Circulars, Notifications, case laws and due dates and inform to the Finance Team for compliance. 9. Preparing MIS Reports showing the status of refunds, rectification applications and appeals and maintaining company-wise MIS and Systematic maintenance of soft copy as well as hard copy of income tax 10. Providing litigation status to the Finance Team at regular intervals and other Business functions for various fund raising initiatives. 11. Providing tax implications on structuring of transactions, fund raising initiatives and merger of companies etc. 12. Maintain good relationship with internal and external stakeholders
