Job Overview :

- We are looking for a Direct Tax Manager who will direct and manage multiple operations related to taxes and deliver tax services.

- As a Tax Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage specific tax-related functions in addition to compliance-related activities.

- You should report monthly and quarterly tax preparation. In addition to this, you should also provide a reconciliation of a company's condition for income tax.

Criteria :

Education : Chartered Accountant

Experience : - Proven 3+years of experience as a tax manager, public accountant, or similar role.

Skills :

- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns

- Strong leadership and personnel management skills

- Analytical skills with detail orientation

- Strong analytical and communication skills.

- Sound problem-solving skills.

Salary : 10 LPA - 18 LPA

Location : Valsad

Role & Responsibilities :

- Ensure full tax compliance for all direct tax provisions

- Optimize tax planning for the company and its group companies

- Prepare documents for tax audit and ensure timely completion and submission

- Ensure proper compliance with RPT policy and quarterly certification from auditors

- Support retirement funds-related activities

- Report legal updates in real-time and suggest tax-efficient mechanisms for compliance

- Ensure timely accounting of tax provisions and workout on the effect of tax

- Prepare standard templates for better tax compliance and internal controls

- Review and guide group companies for payment of advance tax and provision in books

- Ensure timely assessment | appeals | refund, etc of the company and group companies
