Role: Tax Manager - Direct & International Tax

Location: Mumbai

Qualification: Chartered Accountant

Experience: 7-10 years in cross border taxation, transfer pricing and handling tax assessments with Sound knowledge of IFRS/ US GAAP and Indian GAAP

Reporting To: Head Taxation (Director Level)

Objective: This role is part of the Global Tax structure. This team will take care of all tax related activities including compliance, statutory requirements and tax management across the Business Units present in India.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reviewing the activities in all sites and ensure proper assessment of tax impact

- Ensuring proper implementation of projects including creation of SOPs

- Handling the direct and international taxation including transfer pricing, dealing with lawyers, consultants and Centre Tax team in Copenhagen & filing service tax refunds

- Effective and periodic assessment of tax related issues

- Review contracts

- Ensure statutory compliances

- Handling Statutory & Tax Audits, deal with Group Internal Audit, business teams as appropriate on tax matters

- Ensure proper internal controls within the tax accounting process

- Provide overview to the Leadership Team with relevant changes in all applicable laws.
