Manager - Digital Marketing - Medical Device Business (6-10 yrs)

Position Overview / Purpose:

The role of a Digital Marketing Specialist is to develop and implement digital strategy for South Asia. role involves closely working with Country Marketing, APAC Marketing and Company's Digital Marketing agency.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Digital Marketing

- Content Marketing

- Campaign Management

- Agency Management

Accountability 1: Digital Marketing

- Develop & execute the DTC (Direct to customer) strategy for candidates digitally

- Drive demand generation from candidates through raising awareness and generating good quality leads digitally

- Work closely with the field team to understand the consumer buying behavior and hearing journey to drive the demand generation activities digitally

- Managing the digital leads funnel on SFDC

- Build a system/process flow to manage this process effectively

- Map the entire candidate journey and develop appropriate strategies to improve their experience and shorten the decision-making cycle through digital interventions

- Design, build, maintain and grow our presence on social media

- Develop & execute strategies to build engagement with our recipients using our social media pages

- Drive brand choice through all digital channels

- Drive traffic to our website

- Work closely with candidates marketing and recipient services marketing team to ideate and implement the digital strategies

- Work closely with APAC Marketing (Digital) team in developing & executing the digital marketing strategy

Accountability 2: Content Marketing

- Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement & leads, that deliver sales and customer engagement

- Collaborates across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost

- Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.

- Integration of content programs with brand campaigns

- Create shareable content appropriate for specific networks to spread awareness and generate engagement

- Monitor any queries / comments that may come on social media and respond appropriately

- Work with the marketing communication manager to

Accountability 3: Campaign Management

- Developing campaigns that drives traffic, improves customer engagement, leads and sales

- Work closely with marketing automation team to link the lead generation activities with platforms such as Marketo/SFDC

- Responsible for planning and budgetary control

- Measure ROI of the campaign

Accountability 4: Agency Management

- Work with our digital marketing agency closely to implement our plans

- Drive focus on quality of leads rather than quantity

- Provide inputs and monitor the work done by the agency

- Monthly review meeting with agency and prepare high level summary

- Ensure that the digital marketing agency is up to date on all brand guidelines

- Train the digital marketing agency regarding our products

- Be responsible to ensure that the digital marketing agency has a good visibility to the impact that their work is making on our customers

Key Incumbent requirements:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects independently

- Adept at negotiation and persuasion

- Strong organization & time-management skills, experience in managing creatively led projects

- Successful working in a team or working independently as self-starter who uses initiative and is willing to assist with problem solving, flexible & patient, pro-active & motivated

- Obsession for understanding and serving the customers by listening to and empathizing with them

- Drive for continuous improvement

- Ability to understand insights from data and action them

Minimum requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering and MBA (Marketing) from a premier institute

- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience working in digital marketing

- Extensive understanding of all the latest digital trends

- Proven experience in implement and driving digital strategies

- Proven experience in managing external agencies

- Working knowledge of Marketo and SFDC will be an added advantage
