Purpose of the role:

To lead the social marketing strategy in alignment with the business objectives.

II. Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategy and Planning for social & display media :

- Brainstorming new social media strategies and plans in alignment with the brand's core objectives

- Find opportunities to increase the social interaction and followers for the brand

- Directing the creative development and optimization for improving results

- Research new social techniques, platforms, and trends

- Inter-departmental strategies for promoting individual offerings and new products of business on social media

- Developing display media branding and performance plans as per business objectives across all digital platforms

2. Content Creation & Execution :

- Creating, editing and refining the content for social media to engage a higher number of target audience

- Professionally manage multiple social media accounts

- Take charge of daily posting and profile upkeep of company's social media presence

- Coordination with cross functional teams to find opportunities of social marketing

- Optimizing paid marketing on social media

- Coordinating with agencies for smooth and timely execution of display plans

- Tracking and optimizing the display performance across all platforms

3. Online Reputation Management :

- Maintaining an online reputation of the brand by keeping an eye on online conversations and handling them appropriately

- Represent the company's voice on social media by responding to queries, complaints and appreciation by audience

- Promoting positive conversations about the brand on social media

- Provide sign- off on decisions pertaining to identification, selection and management of external recruitment agencies by evaluating various options and selecting the best possible means for talent acquisition while making the recruitment process effective with respect to cost and timeliness. 


- Deploy recruitment initiative/ workshops to train and develop staff on selection/interviewing skills to ensure that people with the right skill sets as well as matching the organizational values are selected into the system on an ongoing basis. 


4. Market Intelligence :

- Keeping a track of industry and competitor activities using online tools & strategize the necessary action, wherever required

- Owning a social media public page (other than personal profile)/closed group will be a plus

- Knowledge of developing a marketing plan

- Knowledge of using social media
