Manager - Digital Performance & Data Intelligence Services

Responsibilities

Strategic

1. Set up an automated process of data management across existing and new client projects with a deep understanding of their business, information and reporting needs

2. Act as key data lead to leverage versatile technical capabilities to drive the development, evolution, and implementation of data platforms and solutions which enable self-service by data consumers (internal and external)

3. Develop prototypes and run experimentation for business intelligence tools, solutions, and techniques

4. Explore industry trends, tools, and techniques in Open Source/Big Data/Digital domain

Operational

1. Evaluate data management, data quality and data access processes on client and internal projects for gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities; provide systemic solutions for improvement

2. Implement solutions and processes for management and governance across data quality metrics, metadata, lineage, data access rights and business definitions

3. Assist in development of standards and policies for business intelligence framework

People

1. Guide, lead and mentor the data management team to deliver the goals as their reporting manager

2. Contribute to overall capability development of the function by taking formal and informal training sessions

1. Contribution to enable client satisfaction of projects delivered

2. Efficiency gains from process improvements on data management

3. Quality (error-free and logically correct) and timely delivery of data to users (project teams, management, client teams, etc.)

Desired qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in quantitative disciplines such as Engineering, Mathematics, Technology, etc. is a must

- Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Technology from Tier 1 institution will be a plus

Desired experience

- At least 4 years of experience in querying and analysing and working with data languages and platforms

- At least 4 years of experience in at least one scripting language

- Strong desire and experience with data in various forms (data warehouses/SQL, unstructured data environments, NO SQL)

- Experience setting up data platforms and infrastructure in complex environments

- 4+ years of experience working on BI reporting tools

- 2+ years of experience delivering Data Governance and Data Quality Management concepts and practices within the financial services industry

- Prior experience of working in external client project delivery roles will be preferred

- Experience of leading and managing teams is preferred

Knowledge and Skills

Technical Knowledge

1. Strong knowledge and understanding of data in the digital marketing ecosystem

2. Strong foundation knowledge of web analytics platform suites such as those of Adobe, Google, etc. will be a plus

3. Knowledge of SEO, paid marketing channels and user experience optimization will be a plus

4. Experience with Data Access and Data Quality Assurance (Structured Query Language, Data Quality Tools)

5. Experience with Database Management (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)

6. Background in Reporting, Operational Data Analytics and Big Data Analytics will be preferred
